Auszug aus den Förderbedingungen von Brasilien

• Antragsberechtigt: brasilianische und internationale gewerbliche Unternehmen aller Größen, inkl. Start-ups, die in Brasilien ihren Betrieb haben
• Fördermodell: EMBRAPII übernimmt bis zu 1/3 der brasilianischen Projektkosten als nicht rückzahlbaren Zuschuss; die übrigen 2/3 werden vom brasilianischen Unternehmen und dem beteiligten EMBRAPII-Institut übernommen
• Der Industriepartner muss mind. 1/3 der Projektkosten übernehmen.
• Der brasilianische Projektteil muss von einem EMBRAPII-Institut entwickelt und geleitet werden.

Historie

Mit Brasilien bestand zunächst seit August 2015 eine bilaterale Fördervereinbarung zur Unterstützung innovativer FuE-Vorhaben zwischen dem deutschen Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWE) und dem brasilianischen Ministerium für Industrie, Außenhandel und Dienstleistungen (MDIC). Es wurden zwei gemeinsame Ausschreibungen durchgeführt. Seit Mai 2020 ist Brasilien Mitglied des Fördernetzwerks IraSME. In diesem Rahmen wird das Land von EMBRAPII vertreten, der staatlichen Brasilianischen Gesellschaft für Forschung und Industrielle Innovation.

• German partners in the ZIM programme may now submit fully digitalized applications via Förderzentrale Deutschland.
• ZIM applicants may submit a project outline via the Förderzentrale Deutschland in order to receive some non-binding feedback regarding the eligibility of their potential ZIM cooperation project.

Extract from the funding conditions of Brazil

• Eligible are Brazilian and international companies of all sizes and start-ups, which operate in Brazil.
• Financing of a project must follow the EMBRAPII operational model. According to this model, EMBRAPII finances up to 1/3 of Brazilian project costs with non-reimbursable resources. The Brazilian industrial partner must financially contribute, in cash payed directly to the EMBRAPII unit, at least 1/3 of the project costs.
• The Brazilian part of the project must be developed/managed by an EMBRAPII unit.

History

At first, a bilateral funding agreement to support innovative R&D projects between the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) took effect in August 2015. Two joint calls for proposals were carried out subsequently. Since May 2020, Brazil has been a member of the IraSME funding network. Within this framework, the country is represented by EMBRAPII, the Brazilian Company for Industrial Research and Innovation.
