The 25th call under the IraSME network between Alberta (Canada), Czech Republic, Flanders (Belgium), Germany, Luxembourg, Turkey and Wallonia (Belgium) is open.

Joint international research and development projects of companies and research institutions are funded through various national and regional funding programs. The project results should lead to new innovative products, services or more efficient processes. In Germany, the projects are funded by the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM). You can find an overview of the sponsors and programs of the other countries at www.ira-sme.net/countries-regions.

Deadline for applications is 26th March 2020.
The submission of the national German applications was possible until 31.12.2019.
The announcement and the joint application form for the current call for tenders can be found under Internationale Ausschreibungen/IraSME.

______

It is highly recommended that each interested partner (companies and research institutes) contact their local funding agency before starting to fill in a project application (in Germany: AiF Projekt GmbH, project management agency for BMWi).

To encourage partnerships between German and foreign companies, BMWi and several ministries and funding organizations from various countries have launched a number of bi- and multilateral funding agreements to support joint R&D projects. All project partners must submit a separate application to the relevant national funding scheme. German applicants, who are eligible for funding under ZIM, benefit from a 10% increase in funding (up to a maximum of 55%) when applying for a transnational cooperation project.
